SangBleu King is a single preliminary style that was released in 2016 in Swiss Typefaces’ Lab section. It sits between the final SangBleu Kingdom and SangBleu Empire. AKA Vigneron King.

SangBleu King. SangBleu King is a serif typeface from Swiss Typefaces. It’s only available in a single style in the “lab” section of the Swiss Typefaces site, so it appears to be a work in progress.

The latter was renamed to SangBleu Serif in 2015. An updated version that merges them into a coherent family (minus Romain’s Text styles) was released in 2019, now named SangBleu OG Serif. SangBleu Empire. SangBleu Empire is a member of the SangBleu collection designed by Swiss Typefaces between 2007 and 2017. Empire is akin to the display version of the SangBleu family and features the highest stroke contrast, which is especially pronounced in the chunky black weight. It is best used for headlines set at large sizes.
