Brief. Fontsmith were approached by the lead creative team at Rufus Leonard and their client Lloyds Banking Group, to discuss licensing and the potential to modify the design of our library typeface FS Jack for the new Lloyds bank brand.. FS Jack was considered a great fit for Lloyds Bank, it offered a clear and confident tone with authority and humanity.

FS Jack was chosen as the signature font for The Shard in London, from its signage down to business cards. Fontsmith also worked with Lloyds Bank to customise FS Jack into a bespoke font for the bank’s updated brand identity – part of Fontsmith’s Brandfont service, which you can read about here.
